Alek Lee is the alias of Tel Aviv’s bubbling DJ / Producer / Performer Ori Kenneth. Born in the U.S and raised in Israel and Paris, France, Alek has been deeply involved in Tel Aviv’s nightlife for over the past decade as a club/bar owner, booker & promoter, and as a resident DJ for some of the most hyped and established venues in Tel Aviv (‘Michatronix’, ‘Tahat’ Club, Alphabet Club and more).

His eclectic-psychedelic-middle eastern-smokey debut official release, ‘Sfarot’, was out March 2017 via the highly appreciated French label ‘Antinote’ (Zaltan, Tolouse Low Trax, D.K) has been well received by leading tastemakers and djs around the world, such as John Talabot, Peggy Gou, Lenna Willikens and more, while title track, Sfarot, has been picked as one of the best tunes of 2017 by Bradley Zero.

Aside from his work as a Dj/Producer, Alek is a versatile key player in Tel Aviv’s music scene: From video producing and editing (Yotam Avni, Mor Elian, Xen, Cohenbeats) to playing percussions for local bands and producers (Ryskinder, Abrao and more) and currently as a third of ‘Shame on Us’ Trio (‘Hivern Discs’).

Nowadays, Alek is based on the line between Tel-Aviv and Berlin, working on his upcoming releases, running the 'Alek Lee Live Band' and new percussion-house oriented ‘Project Runaway’, together with house producer, Stephan Bazbaz.
